Pepper Cow Horn Hot - 10 seeds
The Cow Horn pepper is truly one of the largest chilies around with medium heat. They are perfect for making hot sauce and dry pepper flakes. Their thick walls and sweet simmering heat make them excellent pickling peppers. When roasted these make a great addition to grilled cheese sandwiches!
Capsicum annuum (90 days) Plant produces large curvy 8-10" long thick-walled hot peppers. They turn from green to bright red when mature. The sturdy plants grow 3-4’ tall.

Sowing Tips:
In early spring, start seeds indoors 8 weeks prior to warm nightly temperatures. Place the seeds in sterile media and cover 1/4” deep. Provide 85°F bottom heat, bright light, and always keep moist. Seeds will germinate in 14 - 21 days. Transplant seedlings into pots and grow until there are 6 true leaves on the plant. Plant them directly into rich soil, 30” apart, or into large 5-gallon containers. Harvest chiles when they are red.
